Appointments and walk ins are welcome. Please call for an appointment to reduce wait time and allow us to more efficiently serve you.  Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Our doctors are available for appointment during the following times:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 11am or 2pm - 5pm
  • Saturday: 8:30am - 11:30am or 2pm - 3:30pm
  • Sunday: 3pm - 5pm

Sunday hours are provided for boarding pickup.  One of our doctors is also on duty to provide care for emergency or urgent care patients. No appointment is necessary on Sunday hours.

We are always available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but if you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

Laser Surgery

A laser generates an intense beam of light that can cut and seal tissue.   The benefits of using a laser for surgical procedures are reduced pain, swelling, and bleeding.  As a result, there is less risk of infection.  Some procedures that can be performed by laser include:  cat declaws, spays/neuters, oral procedures, tumor removals, polyps, warty growths on skin, and lick granuloma treatment.

Boarding

Green Springs Animal Clinic offers climate-controlled boarding for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. We offer multiple cage sizes for cats and most dogs along with 8ft x 3ft indoor runs that are available upon request.  All dogs are taken outside twice daily for exercise and bathroom breaks. Additional walks may also be requested. All of our boarding pets are fed Hill's Science Diet Maintenance once in the afternoon unless specified otherwise by the owner. You may bring your pet's food for us to feed if preferred. We provide cloth bedding therefore you do not have to bring pet's personal items.

To protect all pets and employees in our hospital we require the following for boarding:  All dogs must have proof of vaccination for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella within the last 12 months. All cats must have proof of vaccination for Rabies, FVRCP, and Bordetella withing the last 12 months.

Please call to make reservations if  a run is required for your pet.  The demand for these is high especially around holidays or busy weekends.

Print and fill out a boarding form in advance and bring it with you to speed the admitting process.

As mentioned before,  our convenient Sunday hours of 3pm-5pm allow for pet owners take their pets home earlier after a weekend trip.

Grooming

Have your pet pampered with a full bath which includes ear cleaning, nails trimmed, and emptying of anal glands.  Flea treatment and medicated shampoo may be provided by request. Bath arrival must be before 10:30am on weekdays with pick up between 3pm-6pm. On Saturdays, arrival must be before 9:30am with pick up between 3pm-4pm.

For hair cuts/clips please call ahead for an appointment with our groomer.
